Making of Giesswein’s Cactus Sneaker

At the end of March, Giesswein announced the launch of their sustainable Cactus Sneaker.

And here they are now, Featuring vegan cactus “leather”!

These sneakers’ raw material is made of the prickly pear cactus, with the insole and inner lining made from organic cotton.

By using plant-based material for the upper making, the use of chemical components like PVC or phthalates is completely avoided.
